Calories in a grilled cheese sandwich?

Filed in Category Cheese Calories

I have whole wheat bread (80 calories for two slices), reduced fat cheese slices (30 calories each), and I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter (5 calories per tbsp)

If I have two slices of bread, two slices of cheese, and one tbsp of butter, it adds up to about 150 calories. Is this all I will be consuming, or does grilling it with a pan up the calorie intake?
Thank youuu, that’s what I figured but I wanted to be sure. (:

    cooking doesn’t add calories.

no, grilling it on a pan wont add any calories, 150 is all you will be getting.

no grilling it does not up the calories, now if you were to order one in a diner it has 670 cal.

I can’t see why the calories would increase from the cooking method. I think your estimate is probably right.

Grilling it does not up the calories. I do wonder what the cheese and margarine are made of.

not unless you use butter/oil/margarine to brown it. i personally spray it with canola cooking spray which only adds an insignificant amount of calories.
