Can Babies Have Soft Cheeses?

Does anybody know if babies can have soft cheese such as Philadelphia or Dairylea? Also pineapple?

    What age is the baby? Generally babies can start having cheese at about 8-9 months but hold off on giving any sort of cow’s milk until 1 year. If you mean like Philadelphia cream cheese I don’t see why she couldn’t have that if she is at least 8-9 months old…as long as the cheese is pasteurized they should be fine. I see nothing wrong with offering pineapple either if they like the taste of it and will eat it.

    well it depends on how old. they say not to give a child dairy products until after a year but it’s only because of allergies really. my son has been on cows milk since he was a few months old. ( allergic to formula) so really if your child isn’t having an allergic reaction go right on ahead if they can get it down without choking. i can’t tell you how many time people have critisized me for my son having whole milk and it ticks me off but you know what thats what they were raised on before formula and stuff came around.

    when I get a cheeseburger at mc Donald’s, I give him pieces of the cheese. he is 8 months
