   Brie and Camembert are soft-ripened French cheeses usually available in supermarkets such as Giant Eagle. (Go Pittsburgh!) There is also french Roquefort (blue) cheese, which is great sprinkled on a salad. You may also find French goat cheeses, which are good if you like something a little strong. This is great on crackers. Another cheese product that is generally carried by Giant Eagle (but hard to find in other parts of the country) is Kraft’s Mohawk Valley Limburger Cheese spread. (I know it’s not French, but anyone who likes something with some kick should check it out. I get some every time I’m in Pittsburgh.)
