I’m losing weight but I fully overate yesterday, how can I make up for it today?

I have lost about 1kg so far in the past few weeks… Maybe 2kg. I have been burning around 300 calories at the gym each day and restricting my calorie intake to a healthy amount to lose weight. But yesterday I had a healthy breakfast and lunch but then had this creamy alcohol drink (cocktail drink) and then we went out to this fancy restaurant in which I had a creamy chicken and mushroom crepe, fries, cheese bread and dessert (including cream and ice cream and waffles all in one!). I’m going to the gym soon and haven’t had breakfast yet (it is 10.21am). Should I work extra hard at the gym and restrict my calorie intake to an even greater extent or what? Because I really want to lose about 3kg more in 3 weeks. Please help. Thanks!

What are some good things to eat everyday?

I am eating very unhealthy things during the day. I want to eat healthy now. Currently this is what I eat:

Breakfast: Milo cereal
Recess: 2 packets of chips, 1 juice
Lunch: 2 packets of chips, 1 juice
Snack: Chocolate
Dinner: Rice with soup

So as you can see my diet is very unhealthy. I want to eat things that are healthy and don’t have much sugar. Here are some things I can eat and the things I can’t eat:

Can eat:

- cheese
- bread
- jam
- butter
- fruit
- vegetables likes carrots

Can’t eat:

- meat
- vegetables like lettuce

Please help me!

P.S – If there are any problems please ask and I will reply to you by adding more detail
I don’t eat fish or chicken.

1yr old won’t drink cow’s milk…?

I have been breastfeeding my daughter now for a bit over a year and I’m trying to introduce cow’s milk so I can ween her off the breast. She has been eating toddler yoghurt and cheese bread sticks and she hasn’t had any bad reactions too either of them. When I give her milk in her sippy cup she takes a sip and plays with it in her mouth before she spits it out. I have tried warming it up a bit and adding a little bit of sugar but she still won’t drink it.
If anyone can help me with any suggestions that would be great or if you experienced the same problems.

Tips for palliative care of aging cat?

My cat is nudging 18 years old and has been diagnosed with kidney and thyroid problems. The vet has told us there is nothing we can do except make her comfortable and keep an eye on her. In a short period of time she has lost a lot of weight despite still having a good appetite. Over the last couple of days though she has gone downhill fast and is now not eating unless I give her the food from my hand. She is still pretty alert, although she is sleeping most of the time. She is free to roam the house and garden and still wobbles outside to find a sunny corner. I have no doubt that she is not suffering at this stage, and am preparing myself for the day she shows signs of distress or other suffering.

My main concern is feeding her and I would appreciate your suggestions as to what to feed her. She has lost interest in all the standard cat foods (fish, meat) but is nibbling on cheese, bread and Vegemite. Now I know these are not healthy foods for cats (well, Vegemite is but not cheese and bread) but I would like to make sure she is getting some nutrition and comfort. Thanks.
