    Cook time: 35 minutes

    1 container (15 ounces)ricotta cheese
    2 cups (8 ounces)mozzarella cheese, shredded
    1/2 cupfresh parsley, chopped
    1 teaspoonsalt
    1/2 teaspoonfreshly ground black pepper
1 jarBARILLA Tomato & Basil Sauce
2 tablespoonsfreshly grated Parmigiano Reggiano cheese
COOK Manicotti for 5 minutes; rinse under cold water and drain. Cover; set aside.
    PREHEAT oven to 375 F.
MIX ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, parsley, salt and pepper in medium bowl.
POUR one cup of Tomato & Basil Sauce in a 9×13 inch baking dish.
FILL Manicotti with filling; place in baking dish. Pour remaining sauce over shells; sprinkle with Parmigiano cheese.
COVER with foil; bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until heated thoroughly.
Tip: May substitute Italian Bakiing Sauce for Tomato & Basil Sauce.

Cook the manicotti then fill each tube with a ricotta cheese mixture. I suggest adding salt, pepper, some italian herbs and maybe some parmesan cheese to the ricotta you could get creative here with flavorings. Also you could add a beaten egg to the ricotta mixture but it is not necessary. To fill the manicotti easily you could fill a good sized Ziploc bag with the ricotta cut a good sized hole in the corner of the bag and pipe it into the noodles. Place the filled noodles in a baking dish and cover with spaghetti sauce. Bake at 350F for 30 minutes or so until warmed thru.
    Meat is not required.

    hey there
there are some great recipes at:http://www.allrecipes.com
For the most part, what you will do is you’ll have your noodles, the in a separate bowl you will mix your ricotta cheese, an egg, mozzeralla cheese if you want, some pepper and fresh basil (or dried) to the mixture, and you will fill the noodles with the cheese mixture.
in your baking dish, layer of sauce, noodles, top with sauce and some parmesan cheese.
Serve with garlic bread and a nice salad! Wow you got me hungry, i havent had manicotti in ages.

    INGREDIENTS
1 (8 ounce) package manicotti pasta
2 cups whole milk ricotta cheese
    2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
    1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
    2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
    3 1/2 (32 ounce) jars spaghetti sauce
    DIRECTIONS
Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente(firm but tender); drain and cool on waxed paper or aluminum foil to prevent the noodles from sticking together.
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a medium bowl, combine ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, parsley, salt and pepper; fill manicotti with cheese mixture.
In a 9×13 inch baking dish, spread a thin layer of spaghetti sauce on the bottom and arrange manicotti in a single layer; cover with remaining sauce. Cover dish with aluminum foil and bake in preheated oven for 40 minutes. Remove foil and bake for 15 minutes longer; serve.
