How Long Does Graded Parmesan Reggiano Cheese Stay Go For?

Hey, I’ve noticed when I buy the cheese packets in publix (the cold ones) like Sargentos Graded Parmesan Cheese they always say “use within 3 days of opening” Do they really go bad in 3 days? I mean cheese is already aged as it is, I’d think I could use some of it then keep it there for atleast a month, what do you guys think?

If refrigerated you can easily keep it for a month. I do. Right now I have Sargento’s six cheese blend that’s been open for two weeks. Why do you think they put a zipper top on it. They may say 3 days ,because it may dry out and not melt properly.
that wouldn’t be a very good idea,it wont go bad exactly three days later but it advised that you don’t for your own health
