How do companies which make rice and pasta with cheese and “bacon” in them give their product the bacon flavour?
IS IT REAL MEAT THEY USE?? Or is it something like Bacon Salt ??

I am vegetarian, and i do not want to be eating products with any % of meat in them. But so many quick pasta’s do (ones off the shelf). I thought it would be impossible to have real meat in these because i thought it had to be kept cold. But iunno, im vego why would i know lol.
So pleeeeeease. Let me know if the bacon flavouring would be REAL meat.
Im starving and thats all i got LOL.

I’ve made chicken cacciatore baked in the oven (in a dish thing with a lid). My bf likes how the chicken goes nice and tender. I was wondering two things.

1) Could I make a white sauce (or should it be a cheese sauce) and cook the chicken in the oven like that?? Would that taste bad?

2) If I cook the chicken in a the same dish with lid, without any sauce. Will the chicken cook tender? Or will it dry out? Could I just cook it with some garlic and other herbs in there and make like roast chicken drumsticks??

Or would it be best if i’m going to cook it with no sauce, to just cook it on a baking tray?

I can’t find one anywhere! My old neighbour used to give these to me when I was a kid. I used to feel really high on them – almost like what happens when you’ve smoked a doob.

I totally want to make them myself. My neighbour told me that it was the gasses from the cabbage and cheese combining, when hot in the oven, that made the cookies really trippy. He never gave me the recipe and I regret not asking for it, before he died last year.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE – if anyone knows how to make these cookies and, especially, induce the cabbage and cheese gases, please let me have the recipe!!!
