Cream cheese is fine; is Unpasteurized cheese soft cheeses that are the problem, and almost all the cheese in Canada and the US are Pasteurized. Check the label if you’re in doubt, it should indicate either way.
People on here are going to have different opinions on what is considered ‘safe’ during pregnancy. You should also google your question and research for yourself.
Good luck!
Any cheese is safe it is the way it is made that is unsafe. ANY Pasteurized cheese is safe to eat but if it is not pasteurized then it is not. You can buy pasteurized Feta cheese but some of it is not pasteurized. Cream cheese is pasteurized though so it is safe.
its’ A Okay, because it is pasteurized, it’s unpasteurized cheese you need to stay away from, and most soft cheeses are unpasteurized. Enjoy your bagel!
as the other answers – this is fine.
You need to avoid soft cheeses that have been allowed to mould (brie, stilton camembert etc) due to possible listeria infection.
Cream cheese is just fine!
When you hear stay away from soft chese, they mean more of the “specialty” cheeses which tend to be unpasteurized

As long as it’s pasturised, you’re good to go!
I have never heard of having to stay away from any foods while pregnant except for maybe some fishes. But I am sure that cream cheese would be fine.
