If You Took A Piece Of Cheese That Was 100 Calories And Microwaved It, Would It Still Be 100 Calories?

Filed in Category Cheese Calories

Suppose you have a piece of cheese that’s 100 calories. You put it in a bowl and microwave it, so it’s all gooey.
Would it still be 100 calories after it’s been microwaved?

Yes. Although maybe it changes slightly because the enzymes or whatever are changed, but it will likely be the same.

yes but it would stick to the bowl so you wouldn’t eat as much as you would have if it was a slice

yes its simple science. 100 calories is a form of energy. so think about it as an equation. 100=100. energy can not be destroyed or created but transferred.

    technically something could evaporate -_-

It will probably still be 100 calories. It definitely won’t be more. If anything it will be less. Like everyone else said it will be stuck to the bowl and you’ll eat less.

Yes, still 100 calories. There is still the same amount of cheese, just some of it is stuck to the plate now.
So the piece of cheese is still 100 calories, the edible amount of cheese is less though.

It would still have the same amount of calories in it. When you put things into a microwave energy run through the food causing the molecules in the food to move faster and heat up. Unless you set the cheese on fire it will still the same amount of calories.

Yes unless you dab off the fat that comes out of it.
