I can’t decide mines, so I’ll list a couple of things I like.

Chicken Tikka Masalla with Popadoms
Lasagne covered in Italian grated cheese or Parmesan
Macaroni Cheese with Extra Mature Cheddar
Bombay Chicken with Pilau Rice
Haggis, Turnip and Potato’s
Chicken, Leek and Mushroom Pie

Do you know what it is the Grana Padano? Is it famous in Irland?

I’m Italian and the next month I’ll be hosted by an irish family. I would like to give them a present and I have thought about a tipical local cheese the Grana Padano: it is delicious and it is produced with the milk of my cows and that of other farms. Or do you think they prefer some coffee with a mocha? Or a tipical cake of my town called “sbrisolona”?

One day I was with my grandfather in the park. It was a good day he decided to tell me a story and so he started to speak:
“Darling, you know my youth had not been very easy but however I’ve been happy. When I met your grandmother I was 18 and she was 16. She was a beautiful girl and I remained hypnotized to her. We were in a square of her town, I was a soldier and I fighted for the State! After I decided to speak with she and so I said to her:

No! But I’d like it!
She turned around from behind and she ignored me, but I was obstinate continued to speak with her:
Hello! Am I getting through to you? And her exploded in a laughter and answered me:
-Yes ,I’m listening to you! Tell me what do you want and than go away thanks!
And I sarcastic told to her:
Oh my God! You are really acid!Have you eat expired cheese? And her:
-I repeat! What do you want? Strenght, tell me it and go away! An I replied:
Ok! I love you!
She stayed in silence for 10 seconds and than :
-What, are you crazy? And I:
Yes ,I’m crazy but of you!
After some days I came back in the square and I whished to meet her and she was there. I came up to her and said:
Hi! Today are you acid yet? And her:
-No! But it must come to an end, leave me in peace, you are a soldier! And I:
And so..What is the problem? And her:
-The problem is I don’t want an adventure, so go from another girl!
I laughed and said:
I can’t! I love you and so I can’t love another girl but only you.
She didn’t believe me and so answered me:
-If you don’t go away I slam your mind in a wall and than I cut you body in a 1000 pieces. Do you understand?! And I:
Ok. You can do it! I’m waiting.
She was motionless and than told me:
-I go away, stupid.
She was angry because I challenged her! Before she wanted to go away but I bloked your arms and said :I’m waiting streght! And her:
-leave me now!
And I whispered in her ear sweetly; I can’t because I repeat I love you. And then I kissed her”

What is whey powder in italian or how do i make sure that what i am eating is for vegetarians in italy?

i’m going there in three weeks (YAYY!) staying with my aunt so her and my mum will be doing most of the cooking but how do i know that what is in the cheese for example is vegetarian? i’m worried as i am a strict vegetarian not a vegan but yeah i don’t eat meat or any animal products
animal slaughter products sorry so like pork gelatin but dairy i love.
can i just say to the niniel blah that i corrected myself so screw you for not reading properly kay?

This is for a quiz and I can’t for the life of me decide what it is!!! They are making Italian food and Carlisle is cutting what looks like some kind of meat or maybe cheese? Help!!

I have got to go to to a restaurant with some friends and I have narrowed my choice down to the following

Could I have advice as to which options are likely to be the lowest in fat / calories. I realise whichever option I go for it is likely to take me over

the rest of the day my breakfast will be serving of oats and fruit juice (300 calories) and lunch perhaps low fat yought and a piece of fruit (200 calories):-

STARTERS

White Onion & Magners Soup

What type of cheese do they use in cheesy pasta sauces at Italian Restaurants?

I normally make a typical white sauce (using butter, flour and milk) and I add a basic mild cheddar cheese to the sauce near the end but it never seems to taste the same as the sauces I eat at Italian restaurants.

Does anyone know what type of cheese they tend to use in basic cheese sauces or what else they add to the sauce?
