Substitution For Feta Cheese?

Filed in Category Feta Cheese

I’m making a greek dish tonight that calls for feta cheese. We don’t have any feta cheese, but we have ricotta and also Parmesans. Could either of these be substituted for the feta?
I’ve never had a greek dish before so I’m not sure what will go with it.
Thanks!

Personally I’d use a white English cheese. Do NOT use Parmesan! You can get Feta cheese in the Co-op and also Sainsbury’s etc.
    Enjoy your meal.

You could use ricotta (the block kind), but it won’t have that greek feta flavor.
