The Best Way To Store Cheese?

Does anyone know any guidelines/tips for storing various types of cheese? Plastic wrap, paper, foil? I live in Japan and they tend to wrap everything tightly in plastic, I just wonder if that is bad for some of the cheeses. And kind would be great, I love and eat them all!
(Im not talking about Kraft grocery-store variety here, I mean real cheese)

Store cheese in an air tight container or plastic bag. The less air contact the longer it stays fresh and with no mold. Bear in mind that even if mold appears, all you need to do is cut/scrape/grate it off, since chesse incorporates mold to age it. The enemy of cheese is drying out, that’s why the plastic bags or container.
Cheese is best served at room temperature, but it is best stored airtight in the refridgerator. (Freezing it changes the flavor and texture).
I don’t know if they are available in Japan, but I have a Food Saver, which vaccuum-seals most of my foods after removing the air which causes foods to spoil. I have included a link. Have a great weekend. Peace…
Its alright to wrap them in plastic. If you do not want it that way, you can remove the plastic and put the cheese in an airtight container (put in the fridge after that) to prevent it from going bad. It is able to last longer this way too. Hope this helps.
The best way to store cheese is to wrap it tightly in plastic wrap. Then, place the wrapped cheese in a plastic storage bag, ensuring all air is removed. Store in refrigerator.
Cheese can be frozen for up to three months. It can be stored longer, but the taste will be compromised.
TO thaw frozen cheese, do so in the refrigerator. Never thaw cheese on the countertop!
wrap it tightly in some saran wrap and put it in the cheese/meat drawer in the fridge
