What Can I Make With Striploin Steaks, Blue Cheese And Mushrooms?

Filed in Category Blue Cheese

I don’t have to use the blue cheese, but does anyone have a good steak and mushroom dinner to suggest?

Make a compound butter by mixing the blue cheese with butter. Roll into a log and wrap with plastic wrap. Keep refrigerated until later. Grill the steak. Place a slice of the blue cheese butter on top while the steak is still screaming hot and let it melt. Serve with sauteed mushrooms, a baked potato and a nice salad.
You could also just put the blue cheese in the salad.

I would saute the mushrooms, grill the stake, and then cover the stake with thinly sliced pieces of blue cheese right before taking it off the grill. eave it long enough to melt a little.
