I always use mozzarella.
cottage cheese or try 2/3 cottage and 1/3 ricotta.
run some fresh mozzarella through the food processor of blender with a couple of beaten eggs, add some skim milk if too thick
My mom has always used cottage cheese instead of ricotta.
Yep cottage cheese with mabye some mozzarella cheese mixed in or soem italian seasoning since cottage cheese is way more bland than ricotta.. Just put your cottage cheese in a bowl and at some seasoning or some parmasen cheese to give it a lil flavor… Good cooking to ya!
Cottage cheese works just as well, I’ve used it before.
Butternut squash (it’s certainly different), or cottage cheese. Or cottage cheese/cream cheese mixture – this tastes a lot like ricotta, your husband might enjoy it, though.
cottage cheese will work, but if he doesn’t like ricotta he may not like that either.
If your just using straight ricotta it’s to grainy…try mixing two eggs and some mozzerella cheese in with it!
