Goat cheese is not so much the type of cheese like cheddar or feta or mozzarella. The type of cheese comes from the kind of bacteria cultures that they add to the milk. Different cultures make different types of cheese. The goat part is just telling you where the milk comes from. Most likely, any cheese that you buy that was made from goats milk is going to be labeled as such. If it is that you don’t want someone in particular to know that they are eating goat cheese then you should just lay the cheeses and crackers (or whatever) out on a plate to serve it. Don’t know where you are but I have a Kroger in my town and this is the only place that I can find my favorite goat cheese that is labeled Chevre Silver Label goat cheese. Yum Yum. I like to eat it on rosemary triscuits.
the cheese you are looking for is called chevre (pronounced chev)
fantastic tasting cheese too!
You should be able to find feta at any grocery store, it is probably the most common cheese from goat’s milk
Feta is good. My mom uses it all the time for her greek salads.
it’s goat cheese if it’s made from goat milk
