What’s The Italian Recipe That Has Ricotta Cheese, Pieces Of Bread, Mixed Berries Among Other Things?
Filed in Category Ricotta Cheese
I saw it on a cooking show the other day. It has ricotta cheese, pieces of bread, mixed berries, honey, and butter and is all cooked mixed together, but I can’t remember the name or the measurements of the ingredients.

I serve this with pound cake.
2 cups whole-milk ricotta cheese
4 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
4 tablespoons sugar
3 tablespoons honey
3/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
Whip all this together very well. You might want to put the ricotta through the blender first to smooth it our completely. Personally, I like the texture.
4 cups mixed fresh or frozen berries (such as blackberries, raspberries, and halved strawberries)
2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
2 Tbs sugar (more to taste)
Combine and toss lightly.
Put a scoop of the cheese mixture in a glass (a wine glass or champagne flute works nicely) and top with berries.
Sounds like a version of this but couldn’t find a recipe for that.
hope this helps. good luck and enjoy.
doesn’t sound italian at all
I don’t think we’ve got any such desserts
but then again there are regional cuisines…
sorry
Is it Cassata? That’s a cake that has layers of ricotta cheese with dried fruits in it…..
